Rocky is an adult Severe Macaw that was transferred to us from an over crowded shelter. We do not know much about his history other than that he is approximately 30 years old and his previous owner passed away. Rocky is slowly adjusting to his new circumstances and although somewhat reserved, seems relatively friendly. He does not appear to have been handled much in his life, but he is willing to do pretty much anything for a peanut! Rocky will require previous large bird handling and an understanding of a Macaw's unique personality and needs.
