HTC Q2 2012 results: 57.8 percent fall in net profit

HTC has reported a substantial drop in its quarterly profits, with unaudited profit for Q2 2012 totalling T$7.4 billion ($247.7 million), down from $T17.52 billion this time last year. While it marks an improvement from earlier this year, HTC's been troubled by weak European sales, while customs issues hampered US sales for high-end devices like the One X.
